I was watching this game also. Hofstra is just to small to compete with the length and athleticism of UNC. Every time I watch Jenkins though I am impressed with how easily he can score from anywhere on the floor, he is very good player for them.

This was an important game for him individually (from a tape/scouting perspective) and he's performed well. Young Cassara's vanilla zone just gave Carolina's three-point shooters a field day.

I think Iona just hit a 3 at the buzzer to tie. Taking Richmond to OT

Baldi, I think every Iona prediction you've made this year has been wrong :)

Great win tonight.

Francessa just called Iona 1 of his "pet" teams this year. Mentioned the win as well

Pretty sure he's friends with Cluess.  Francessa lives in Manhasset which is where St. Mary's is.  Cluess made his name as coach of St. mary's for years.

  Aren't they 1-3?

Pretty sure when he was hired Francessa didn't know much about him.  Maybe since then he's gotten chummy.

Rutgers up 44-33 on Miami with 8:40 to go on the game. Syracuse sweating William & Mary with 11 minutes to go it's tied at 45.

That's the second game they've struggled in against a lesser opponent.

You may be right Moose.  For some reason i kind of remember Francessa talking about Cluess like they were friends.  He may have been friends with Cluess' brother or something.  Memory isn't so good anymore.....

Come on, no one is even mildy impressed with what Rutgers did to Miami?

How many points did Miami score?

They may have turned a corner. We'll see.

Anyone notice that YALE upset Boston College last Thurs... :)

Third year in a row that BC lost to an IVY.
