So much has changed about the St. John's men's basketball program in recent months. Steve Lavin was hired as coach on March 30, giving the Red Storm a big name and ushering in a new era. He hired a staff that blends NBA experience, high-powered recruiting and enormous success at the college and high school levels. And now there has been a flood of nationally recognized talent that has committed to join the Johnnies, giving the Storm one of the nation's best recruiting classes.

What really hasn't changed is the personnel that will be donning the St. John's colors this season. Almost everyone is back from a team that went 17-16 a year ago and reached the NIT for the first time since 2003.
