Jungle Fantasy College Hoops

Would anyone be interested in doing a fantasy college hoops league?  A guy I work with told me about his league and how it runs.  So I thought a jungle league would be fun!!!

Details:  12 players on each team.  No position requirements.  (So you potentially could have 12 PG's on your team if that's what you wanted.)  Stats that are used....Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, 3 pointers made, 3 point %, FT %, FG%.  The league would be Rotisserie scoring.  No adds & drops.  The team you draft is the team you have the entire year.  Regardless of injury, suspension...etc.  Every 3 to 4 weeks I would update each players stats and send out the stats and standings.  The draft order would be determined by me picking out of a hat.  It will be a snake draft.  The draft itself would be done via e-mail or if Dave ok's possibly right here on the message board.  Draft would be from 9AM to 9PM with one hour to make your pick. 

Those are the basics.  I can get into more details if and when I find out if more people are interested.  It would be limited to 10 teams. 

I know hoops have already started so you get the stats that players already have.  But the sooner we get this going the better!

  sounds cool except the part about it taking 12 hours.  An hour to make a pick?  is that a typo?

The one hour limit is there for people who may not be near their computer all day.  They can check in periodically to see around when they will be up.  If the 1 hour limit passes they get skipped, and can pick whenever....but the next player picks and so on.  In a perfect world everyone that enters pays attention and the draft can be done quickly.  But l won't be surprised if the draft takes more than 1 day.  Hopefully no more than 2!

If the majority want a BE league only...that's fine.  I just think with all D1 players...it will make for a better draft.

  like your 18 team football league?  I can't commit to a draft like that.  If you could streamline it somehow, id be interested.   Make it at 9pm one night or something.

How exactly will the draft work??..I'm intrested but I don't have a computer so would I be able to do it from my phone??..

Yeah...I think it will be easier to do the draft right here on the message board.  So if you can reply to these posts then you should be all set for the draft.  Once we have 10 sign up.....I'll pick the draft order at random.  Then whoever has the first pick will state in a post the player they are drafting and the school they are from.  They will also announce who is next on the clock.  So it would look something like this....

Upstate32 drafts Malik Boothe, St John's.  Marco Baldi is on the clock.

During the hours of 9AM to 9PM Marco would have 1 hour to make a pick.  If he doesn't he gets skipped and the next person would be on the clock for an hour.  If you get skipped you can jump in at any time to make your pick.  During off hours picks can still be made....but no one gets skipped if someone doesn't make their pick. 

So if people pay attention...this could go relatively quick.
