Boothe riding the pine. Dj won this game in the 2nd half. We suck against the zone

Brownlee was good too, especially in first half.

Stith will be starting by BE season .

This team will have a tough time winning when Brownlee has an off night. Did Wagner look like they were in better shape than St Johns?

maybe, but i'll cut St. John's some slack in that department due to the insane travel they have done in last week.  That's not easy.

Wagner looked much better than I expected. Obviously, we should have won by more, but I was impressed w Hurley's kids.

They didn't quit when they went down 16 in the second half.

We played well enough to win. No harder.

DJ had a good 2nd half, but something doesnt seem right with him. Hes been sluggish every game. Burrell went unnoticed. Horne needs to stop dribbling so much. But like you said, Stith looks like his improving every minute

I agree about DJ.  He has just seemed off this season.  I've even been wondering if he's in some way injured.

Man we have some work to do. We have to keep stacking up Ws but it gets to a point where we need to play complete games or this spells major trouble come BE play. I like the way we are driving the ball to the hoop and getting fouled. Need to shoot FT at a higher % though. Take the win but a little disappointed. I was expecting a 20 pt win. Maybe we do need to get our legs under us (travel).

I've noticed that they've been playing DJ a lot from center to the left of the court offensively.  To me, DJ always was much more effective on that right side.  Even though he's a lefty, he always turns the ball over trying to take that left baseline off the dribble, but he's money on the right.  I think the staff also emphasized that they want him doing more off the ball.

I think eventually they will realize that DJ needs to play with the ball in his hands more.  I think a two-man game will emerge with him and Brownlee as the season progresses.

The are predicted to be near the bototm of the Conference this year. I think they only won 4 games last year and lost 4 of the 5 starters
