I think Northwestern will be a formidible opponent, but Georgia Tech is garbage.  This is the same Georgia Tech team who lost to Kennesaw State (80-63) earlier this month.  The Yellow Jackets were down by 20 points at one point during the second half of that particular game, as well.

The same Kennesaw State team who was smoked by 40 points at the hands of Iowa State and 22 points to Creighton.  I think it'll be a good test for the Johnnies, but I wouldn't look at what Northwestern is doing to Georgia Tech, as a measuring point at the moment.

I watched the game for a few minutes. They look like a solid squad but this is the third time I have seen G-Tech and they are terrible. I think with the game being at the Garden we should win but I hope they keep winning because it will help our resume if they do end up having a better than expected season.

Georgetown vs Missouri should be a good game later.   UNC / Ill as well.   Want to see this kid Barnes play.

Good player, but not one who can carry a team.  Passive-type of player.

and to think Hewitt was a top choice to replace Norm......I am glad his wife loved Atlanta.....I don't think the feeling will be mutual at the end of the season.  Is NW that good or is GT that bad?

Teams don't shoot 70% in a half very often.

NC runs the Brian Mahoney offense. Don't ever move your feet. Hope for the best.

Regardless of the opponent though shooting 65% from the field and 63% from the 3pt line is very impressive. I think its a mix of G-Tech being bad and N'Western being good, they will give us more of a test than I originally thought based off what I saw tonight.

They appear to have the same problem Texas had last year – a bunch of talented parts that don't fit together as a team. So pretty much the opposite of what Duke has going right now.

We got "lucky"? and barely handled Ball St. and Arizona St. and barely squeeked into the NIT with almost the exact same group last year.  What would lead one to believe that games against big 10 schools, or a10 schools for that matter, are a gimme?  The surprising Drake stunner?

Who said anything about Northwestern being a "gimme?"
