we played awesome! brownlee dj hardy and burrell give us a solid core while paris and polee give us solid defensive role players that hit easy shots and boothe gives us toughness and leadership. if we play confident we can be a problem in the bigeast
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Everyone played well. They had a nice defined rotation which was nice to see as well.

I kept waiting for the WV run and us to collapse but it didnt happen and thats a great sign. we got them in foul trouble, DJ and Hardy hit FTs. I didnt recognize the team out there on the floor and thats a good thing.

what happened to the live game blog/chat room that was setup for the St Marys game. Dave are you not doing those anymore?

i just got home and saw the last minute of the game and idk if he was on for halftime as well but did anyone else think norm commenting at the end was the sadest thing ever....i really felt bad for him having to comment on that...his team, actually playing well against a good team on the road, and having to analyze how it happened..damn

Definitely was waiting for the same.  Either that or the refs to start giving WVU some of the same calls that we were getting.  The team was so solid, great composure and high basketball IQ.  Something we've been lacking for some time.

I thought it was very akward having him comment on St.John's pre, during, and post game.

Great win for the team.  Players and coaches deserve a lot of credit.  WVU, whether they are brutal or not,  is almost unbeatable at home.  Nice to see the team take the Fordham debacle and use it to right the ship.   Very exciting win.

The bar on top that says chat...you can click on that and there is the chat during the game.

Thats been odd all year long. Norm put himself in an awkward position by joining sny's big east coverage. He s got a lot of knowlwdge about the teams in the league, but obviously is a little too invested in one of them. This team succeeding looks bad for him.

Amazing win, very happy for the guys and most of all I ended the game satisfied. The team clicked, finally!

Mixture of defenses, left the 3 open but WVU died by the 3 as well. Kennedy stepped up huge 17pts 11 reb 6 asst. Burrell was aggressive, Hardy and Brownlee were great...just amazing everywhere.

and how about this..

F-R-E-E    T-H-R-O-W-S

22 more FT's than WVU...love it!

lets build on this!

It's so awkward watching this....BT is like killing the team last year with Norm being right there, I'm like cringing every time they talk about the game.

Great game all around. DJ, Bronwlee, Hardy and Burrell give us four legitimate scoring threats and that is tough to defend. Paris and Polee off the bench were good also and we are 9 players deep who all can produce in their own ways its very nice to have. This team turned a corner in the Holiday Festival, look out Big East. Also not to damper this win at all but WVU is a good team but not near the team they have been the last few years which surprised me because they usually just reload and come back a top team again.

Best road win in 8 years. Easy. Maybe longer.

Burrell, Brownlee, DJ and Hardy all played well. DJ was just stellar. We went out and got this one because we wanted it more.

If i didn't look at the box score, I wouldn't have realized that Kevin Jones even suited up tonight. Overrated right there.

Totally enjoyable; particularly after last year when sitting through that second half was torture.  I thought the smiles on the players when stoppage for another 2 for Hardy in the last 30 seconds was a moment to remember.  The players are really buying in to the coaching staff.  DJ's free throws showed how much he stepped up tonight.  Hardy is money from the line down the stretch.  the double J&B has quite a kick to it.
Burrell looks like a new guy out there.  He doesn't grab rebounds and want to play point guard and he keeps his shots close in--the dunk tonight was a tremendous play.

It is only one game but what a game----it looked like pay back by these guys and hopefully it continues!!!!!

I thought Norm handled himself fine for once.

It's got to be uncomfortable because he can see how hard they played.

Obviously he remembers blowing an 18 point lead at MSG last year to WV. Thankfully, it doesn't matter anymore if ge realizes that he was our biggest problem.
