Rests for Hardy
« on: January 04, 2011, 11:54:31 PM »
I think Lavin is going to have to get really smart with finding time for Hardy to rest.  Yesterday there was a stoppage in play at 8:54 and I thought that would be a great time to steal Hardy a 4-minute blow with G'town at the line and the under-eight  t.o. coming.

Coach is probably going to have to find 2-3 of these a game to get him some rest or it will take its toll on the kid's legs come March.  We have a number of intelligent kids like Wrobel to put on a task like this.

He can rest on non-game days.  ;)

being like 20, i think hardy can rest on game days and it will be sufficient so hes not dead by march... some rest would probably help for the game hes playing right then, but i really doubt it will hurt him in future games unless hes actually injured of course, 40 minutes of running time is not bad at all, especially considering the stops there are in basketball and there is no excuse to not be in shape enough to do it as a D1 college player

Hopefully Boothe will be coming back shortly and once he does, it will be able to let Lavin have Hardy sit a few minutes.
