Syracuse has taken over Madison Square Garden in earlier visits to play St. John's. Their Orange-clad fans cheer like it's a home game, the Red Storm faithful are drowned out - an embarrassing scene for coaches, players, fans, and potential recruits.

But the Red Storm are no longer pushovers. With a new coach, new dedication, and some new confidence, this game won't be lack the last 2 contests against the Orange. The Orange have turned the last 2 games into laughers, whooping and hollering on the bench as they play got ragged, and garbage time extended into double-digit minutes.

This year's 'Cuse team might be undefeated. But flawless? Not quite. The Red Storm seniors have a chance to knock off Syracuse for the first time in their careers.

Prediction: Blizzard conditions could keep the orange fans out of the garden. I see a smallish, but pro STJ, crowd tomorrow. Not ideal but better than whats happened during the last few cuse visits.

There will be a blizzard, and they will still outnumber us.

Prediction: SU 77, SJU 64

I think we have to try and get the ball to Brownlee around the FT line/paint and let him work.  He generally makes good decisions either finishing or finding the open man.  IN the end, i think Cuse is too tough for us.

SU: 73
STJ: 64

I have a bad feeling this game is going to look a lot like the ND game.  I have nightmares about how bad our offense might be against the long and athletic Cuse zone.  I hope I am wrong but I see cuse winning by 15 in an easy one.

74-71 SJU

Hardy and the guards need to penetrate and Brownlee needs to run the baseline

If you're counting on NJ Transit, you might as well not come.
Stay in the city tonight if you can. NJ Transit is a disgrace.

Haha I know, but I live 60 miles upstate so driving in the snow simply isn't an option.  I'll try my best though.

A few thoughts:
Fab Melo= smaller less athletic Curtis Johnson
Lets get the day started right- We need a snow day.
Lets hope the LIRR is running.
I hate G-town- I really hate Syracuse- But you have to HATE UCONN MORE!
I can't pick us to win but I wont be shocked if we win.
Brownlee bust that zone.
Rick Jackson is a beast but he cant shoot free throws- Lets foul him often and watch him miss free throws

Fab Melo is a mess, but do you really think he's Curtis Johnson bad?

SJU 74 SU 70. I just hope also that the LIRR is running, I want to watch this game live. I think we can win and I have been right about our first four BE games so hopefully I predict right again.

Baye Moussa Keita - 76
$300 stipend Keita - 61

I've rearranged my plans and will now be in the house even if I have to come by snow shoe or dog sled.

Let's go Redmen!  Here it is!

Good luck to the ladies as well against Ucan't.  I'll stick around for the first half for curiosity sake.

The snow has stopped, NJ Transit is up and running, my driveway is plowed and the roads look drivable already.  I'll be in the building tonight!

I think their bigs cause us too much trouble.  We need to cause havoc on their guards and get a lot of fastbreak points against them.
