All Choked Up

I have seen the enemy and it is us.  The Ncaa tournament was right there for this group of seniors to reach out and grab it and we plain choked.

46% from the line on our home court lost us the game plain and simple!!!

It's not strategy, it's not preperation, it's not lineups, it's not matchups, it's not coaching,  it's not shot selection,  it's not Hardy's ankle, it's not the Bearcats, it's not the crowd (which was darn impressive and just a tad shy of a total sellout)...etc.

We looked ourselves square in the mirror from 15 feet away and gagged.

The team is 1 and 4 in the games I've gone to.  I'm so dissapointed.

Not to worry Carmine. These guys are on their way out. It's their legacy they'll have to live with. Soon they will be a distant memory.

These guys are my guys and I'm not very good at living for the future.

The similarity of this game and the St. Bonnie game are uncanny.  I'm sick.
