We should be ranked in the top 10, buy the writers seem to have a problem w us.

Maybe we should have played a harder schedule.

The YAHOO fan poll has us #4 after the win over Pitt.  I would suspect that very few NYers ever vote in that kind of stuff along with a fewer % of St.John's fans. NYers have no time. If the supposition is correct, we are getting an enormous bounce in the nation's mind  and, judging from my own observations in FloriDUH, whare they can't spell basketball (only football),  the guy on the street is excited about the Redstorm. We should get a# 15 this week from the writers and a #5 from the BE coaches that vote.

big issue is what happens to those above us.  We will not probably get as high as we should be.  Cracking the top 20 is where I expect  us to be. I agree with those estimating 16-19.

I just did a quick check of the teams ahead of us in the coaches poll.....I count 9 teams ahead of us that lost at least once this week that were ranked between (#10-#24).  I think we could make a jump inside the top 15.

i'll say #14, although i still think it should be higher. a lot of teams ahead of us lost

#14 nova 2x
#18 vandy
#24 temple
#11 g'town 2x
#22 kentucky
#10 arizona 2x
#15 uconn
#4 san diego st
#5 texas
#13 florida
#21 missouri

uconn should drop into the 20s, as should nova, 'zona should drop into the upper teens, florida will probably be around #16 or 17.

and thats before the 3 more games tonight, and the 6 top 25 games tomorrow.  so a few more teams could lose

im thinking we should move up quite a few spots.

to the top 25s that lost

so a total of 13 of the 25 teams have lost.

i like our odds of moving up into the top 15
