I have no problem with him checking that guy. There is no way Burrell should have let him go in for a dunk when they're up with under 10 seconds left.

Foul was fine.  Standing over him and taunting....makes Burrell look like the punk!!  I think he might have just cost himself playing on Senior Night!!!

Edwin has always been a streaky 3 point shooter. I'm not surprised he's had some nights where he has dropped 20-30. Also...

Also I have no problem with Burrell's foul however DJ lost his cool. I didn't condone what he did in the last min of play.

i dont think dj did anything... the ref and his teamates grabed him but he didnt say anything or really go after the person

DJ did nothing wrong, they were fighting over the ball and the play was over and the guy tossed DJ to the floor. DJ was pissed but the refs and the players calmed him down, he handled himself pretty well. Was what Burrell did the right or the smart thing to do? no but was it exactly what those punks deserved? yes. Burrell isn't going to let his teammates get thrown around and let SH run up the score wit only a few seconds left, it was a bush league move they have to hold the ball in that situation.

The whole ending frankly looked classless, which is disappointing for seniors and a veteran coach.
The Big East administrators couldn't have enjoyed watching that conclusion on national television.

It was a hard foul. That's it. He shouldn't have stared at him other than that if he would have scored people would have been saying he quit. Don't run up the score period

I saw him run down after the Burrell foul and started throwing forearms.  Then Willard ran in and started holding his guys back.  It looked like DJ was ready to fight someone.

I'm very interested to see what Lavin does with Burrell and DJ on sr. night.
I think sitting them both for the 1st half against South Fla is the right call here.

Are you kidding me? Seton hall is a bunch of punks and thugs, I liked what I saw it showed JB and DJ cared. Maybe they overreacted but I'll take that over putting your tail between your legs and walking away any day. It was a hard foul by JB and DJ just had his teammates back. That was Childs play compared to a gun charge and all the other crap at SH. Sitting JB and DJ on senior night would be a huge mistake and it is ridiculous of you to even suggest. These two guys deserve senior night, if you want to punish them do it in practice.

Its their senior night.  Both should start.  Glad we have some dire and are pissed to lose!  I smell a twenty point blowout if we do it again.
