If we win Saturday, who do we play and when?

As, of now it'll be the winner of the Seton Hall/Rutgers game on Tuesday.  Hopefully, the Pirates win, as I want a piece of their arse on Wednesday.

It seems like bigeast.org is showing the matchups once seeding is locked in.  Seton Hall Rutgers is definitely the 12/13 game.  Winner of that plays the 5 seed On Wednesday at 2pm.  We would play again at 2PM on Thursday against Syracuse if we win.

The only way it changes is if we win and Syracuse loses to Depaul at home.  Then we would play the winner of Syracuse/Seton Hall/Rutgers on Thursday at 2PM.

Even if we lose we are still guaranteed the 5 seed.  These are the scenarios if we lose.

1) We are tied with Georgetown and West Virginia - STJ wins with a 2-1 miniconference record

2) We are tied with Cincinnati and West Virginia - STJ wins with a 2-1miniconference record

3) We are tied with either Georgetown or Cincinnati -  STJ wins because we beat Pitt and neither of them did

2pm game, that sucks. I always thought they should wait til matchups are determined before setting tip times. You would think they d want STJ in the late window.

Why would they care when STJ plays.  Everyone has equal share.  The tournament has sold all tickets.  Its always based on the seeds.  1 seed is during the day because they the closer seeded teams leave a better chance for a competitive game.

I would love another shot at SH. Those guys are such punks and they won't shoot 70% from 3 pt again thats for sure. I will be there Wednesday and I hope we crush them.

Just for atmosphere in the building, especially this year witht the buzz we re creating. And for our sake, it s not gonna be as raucous of a crowd at 2 as it would be at 7/9pm.

If we play Cuse in the quarters, the game could be at 5 AM and the crowd would be electric.

The atmosphere for most games in the tournament are raucous anyway.

They stick to the seeding so it is what it is.  Its easier for tickets during the day as a positive.
