He's a starter, but gets few 2nd half minutes but with DJ out does Lavin turn to him? Or do we go small?

Don't think Hollywood tuns to pole vault.  I think we go big, more Evans and JB1, and small, more Malik II and III.

Hardy boyz, JB2 and Hilton will all play 38+ from here on.

I think it's all about who we play. The postive is that lavin has done a good job of getting bench guys minutes all season. I think the big lineup looked good with Sean, JB,and JB2.  Stith actually looked decent in the few minutes he got the only guy that hasn't played much lately is Coker but I dont really see that changing. Let's hope guys step up in DJ's place and we win a couple more games

Thats fine, but Evans and Burrell tend to rack up the fouls quickly

I really think Lavin & staff sit Polee down before Thurs/Fri and try to boost his confidence and let him know that his role has just increased!!

Obviously Evans, Boothe, Burrell and maybe even Stith's minutes will go up....but if we're sweet 16 bound....Polee needs to step up in the loss of Kennedy and get us there.  A basket or two more per game won't hurt....but Polee needs to play big and hit the boards like DJ did.  If we can control the glass....I think we can advance to the Sweet 16!!

Lavin is going to turn to everyone. They all know they need to step up. Polee makes the most sense.

I think Evans and Burrell both played pretty solid and they will get more PT now that DJ is out. Polee will play more and hopefully with extended time he can get into some type of rhythm. I think he has some game but its tough when you play less than 10 minutes every game to get going. I think the team will rally around the fact that DJ is out and play really well.

It's all about the match ups.  Polee play time will be the inverse to the bulk/strength of the opposition front line

I'm not down on him at all as he's a frosh on the most senior laden team in the history of D1 basketball. But he's been painfully shy on offense and is leaving his feet to early on defense for months now.  His day will come but I don't suspect it's this Thurs. or Fri. other than the opening tap and a few extra minutes as per usual.

If we play a Belmont or Belmont type of team Polee will have more success IMOP. It's the physical play that makes the BE so hard for freshman.

exactly poison. Lucky for us I think polee is thinner and less built than any of our freshmen coming in.
