Reggie Cameron (2013, Playaz 16-U)

Built to be a trailing four man in a four out/one in system, Cameron is a dangerous long range shooter from on top. He doesn't make plays in traffic like his teammate Young does, but Cameron has good hands and will make more plays in traffic as he gets stronger.

Reggie Cameron has his eyes on the ACC. Both Maryland and Virginia have offered as have St. John's, Rutgers and Seton Hall.

He played well this weekend at Pitt Jam Fest. He plays on 16U NJ Playaz and Hudson Catholic high school. He kind of reminds me of Kurt Thomas. He's a strong rebounder and is a nice pick and pop player. He's not extremely athletic in his speed or vertically. I see him eventually moving outside unless he hits a growth spurt.

Sounds like one of the top NJ kids for 2013 is looking for an offer from SJU.   The impact of Lavin is being felt everyday.

Reggie Cameron, a 2013 small forward from Hudson Catholic, is considering offers and interest from Cincinnati, Rutgers, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Miami, Xavier, Northwestern, Providence, Tennessee, Villanova, Virginia, West Virginia, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, DePaul and UMass. Cameron has been on the Seton Hall and Rutgers campus numerous times during the fall and winter. He also attended two Oregon State games when they played in New Jersey last month.
