There is one game-worn jersey hanging from the rafters of the windowless gym inside the Quality Education Academy on the last Wednesday in February. It is emblazoned with the No. 10 on its front and belongs to Jason Calliste, a sophomore guard at the University of Detroit. Basketball coach Isaac Pitts hopes it is the first of what will be a laundry line of former Fighting Pharaohs.
