Wow, that is some talent we have!

We have the two best outside shooters.  After years of having no consistent outside shooting game, I really want to see our guys do some good things from outsdie.

The author of the article apparently forgot about Dwayne being Coach Lavin's first CA recruit, and not Norvel.  Boo!

Interestingly, Birch is the top defender and rebounder, but not shot blocker.  I thought Birch was a center, but I guess he is rated as a PF.

Bring on the season!!!

Birch is a 4 but likes to hang outside too.  So a 3/4 mix.

I really haven't seen Birch play, but I would have thought that Pointer had the best motor.  Any comments by those that have seen both?

Weird and good point.  When I think 'motor' I think of smaller players and their hustle, not big men.

Birch has a very good motor.  He was on Pointer's is8 team I believe.  Birch is not so much a "big man" as he is a PF with good shot blocking ability.

In other conference recruiting news, Uconn got a commit from deandre Daniels today.  Monster commit for them.  They should be excellent again next year.

Birch is a walking K-Mart clone.  Who likes to cherry pick at 3 pt line a bit more.
