I'd love nothing more than for the Harrisons to pick Maryland.  I think it would probably eliminate Md. from Rysheed's top spot if that is indeed the case right now.   My wish list for 13' is Rysheed Jordan and either Jermaine Lawrence or Jarrell Martin, although rumors about Martin's academics concern me.

He still lists SJU and says he will cut list down later this summer.  Still hearing Maryland heavy favorite for him.

I hear Temple, Maryland and Xavier are strongest.

Not a good article IMO.  I was lukewarm on Jordan's interest and reading this confirms that.  Here is a highlight of what he said-

In fact, Jordan told RedStormReport.com on Thursday at the Reebok Breakout Challenge that Lavin is the Red Storm's point man in his recruitment.

"I've talked to him here and there," Jordan said of coach Lavin. "He seems like he's a cool dude."

Jordan said that St. John's has been pursuing him for quite some time now and he touched on the recruiting pitch he is hearing from Lavin and Co.

"How I'd fit their offense," Jordan said. "They just say-basically [all the schools] say the same thing."

Jordan confirmed that he is indeed interested in the Big East program and would be open to take a visit to the campus in the Big Apple. However, he still is somewhat unfamiliar with the school.

"I don't really know too much," Jordan said of St. Johns, "but I had seen them play on TV."

Asked if he knows any of the players on the team, Jordan replied, "No, not sure. I knew Nurideen Lindsey, but he's not there no more."

Know Temple has been working hard to get him. Thanks Moose! Agree w your sentiments. IMO, not a great loss. It is nice to have so little to fill and many options.

Yes, not sure who.
Could be new "deputized assistant". Zach B noted presence 3 posts above.

“@NYCHoops: RT @bosworthhoops: UCLA, St Johns, Miami, Rutgers, FSU, Baylor, Temple, Nova, lots more here for Final and Philly Pride. #LiveinAC #stjbb” Jordan's team.

SJU not listed, but know they are interested. IMO, Temple is team to beat. We will see.

Severe also referenced. He has nice group of schools. GW allegedly pursuing him the hardest.

I still get the feeling that we're not nearly out of it with him.  Time will tell.

I think the key maybe Maryland and Roddy Peters.  bball mentioned this on the other site and I believe he has a point.  If Maryland decides to focus on Peters as their 2013 PG target then I think SJU could very well become a player among others for Rysheed.

Should he be our #1 target?

Those two pretty much.  I'm on record wanting Martin as priority 1, Lawrence 2.
