I think he meant that he doesn't care how SJU lands him (ie other teams signing PGs), just that we do actually land him.

You are right, I actually reread it from that vantage point and I think that is what he meant.

I think they are now in line to land PG Rodney Peters and I hope they do.  Ultimately though, we want kids that want to come here and play, not rely on dominoes falling our way, although it certainly can help.  I'm glad the Harrisons didn't choose Maryland though.  I love seeing the ACC spurned.

With Frank Mason going to KU I don't see Peters headed to Lawrence as well (I know he plans on visiting KU).

If Maryland gets Peters, and with UCLA having :Lavine, and Syracuse having Ennis, we got to like our chances. Kid seems to want to stay in Philly but NYC is close enough.

It can happen but it usually is a special circumstance (they are already teammates in HS or JUCO or are both top 10 recruits).  Trust me I don't believe UCLA is going to take Rysheed if that means they have to take Austin.

Whitehead, Lawrence and McCullough all "talking" about playing with each other perhaps at Cuse.  Does anyone actually think in the end that will happen?
