Your prediction regarding next StJ's commitment is ...

With absolutely no inside knowledge my guess is Katin Reinhardt.

After reading that he is becoming friends with Ricardo Gathers and 2011 Johnnies then things are looking good for Team Lavin.

Your prediction on who will be the next StJ's commitment is?

I think KA will be our next commitment when he announces on September 20.  I think he will play the point for us.

I love Katin's game from what I saw in clips but I can't yet get a sense of how interested he really is in coming to NYC.

The interesting thing is if KA verbals, will one of the cluster of the recruits quickly verbal after that? I say - yes.  Whoever verbals next, the verbal after that will be fairly quick - within one week, maybe days...

It's going to be a very good player, and that player isn't going to be from NY.

I think it will be Kyle Anderson.

I have a feeling Katin Reinhardt will take a little longer, and it will come down to St. John's and UNLV.  Katin has been quoted over and over as saying that freshman playing time is very important to him.  UNLV would be able to offer him the keys to the car (quite a crappy car), but St. John's really needs another lights out shooter and will only have four other guards on the roster--only one of which will be a senior.

Have to disagree.   6'5 SG Bryce Jones, a former National Top 80 recruit transferring from USC will have already spent a redshirt year hotwiring that car, and Mike Moser, the UCLA transfer who was Oregon Player of the year and National #57 recruit  will have had two seasons with the pedal to the metal with two seasons to go by the time Reinhardt would get to Sin City.  Anthony Marshall will have been a 2 year starter at guard for  the Running Rebs by that time.  He won't step down quietly.   6'9 soph Carlos Lopez is out of Findlay Prep, and was a top National Top 90 recruit.  Soph Marquette transfer PG Reggie Smith will be eligible this winter.  And if UNLV pulls the major upset and lands 2012 #1 recruit Shabazz Mohammad, Katin is reduced to 4th or 5th option - not the free-wheeling keys to the car situation Rice has supposedly promised.
