I am curious how do these kids from out of town afford coming to MM at any school?

How does any kid afford to travel to a school that they will potentially go to?

Rather than visiting Rutgers this weekend, 2013 New York natives Jason Boswell & Dayshon Smith will attend St. John's Midnight Madness.

Per CBS Sports.com....

Rollin’ Deep

St. John’s: The Red Storm will have a host of recruits on campus, including currently-ineligible prospects Amir Garrett and Norvel Pelle. Chris McCullough, one of the top 2014 recruits, is expected to be in attendance, while Jermaine Lawrence (2013), Jason Boswell (2013), Dayshon Smith (2013) and Chris Obekpa (2012) could be there as well. Commits Ricardo Gathers and Darrick Wood are also visiting.

The biggest one right now, who is not getting much press IMO is Chris Obekpa.  This is a 2012 recruit thAt fills our 4/5 need, is built for our style and is one of the best 5 shot blockers in the country.  One of the others might be sitting next to him in Norvel Pelle.  The fact at he's going to SJU's midnight madness is a VERY promising sign IMO.  He'd be a fantastic addition to Gathers and Wood and as a replacement for Jakarr.  I bet Lavin is all over thus kid and he's probably our primary focus for the 2012 class.  A, B, C it Lavin...

they should play some Kriss Kross back in the day:

Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Cause that's what I was born to do
Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Cause that's what I was born to do(2x)

Verse 1
Some of these homies try to rhyme, but you can't touch this
I'm kicking the type of flow that makes you say "You're to much Chris"
So feel the fire, of the one they call the Mac Dad
The fine brother packing, and what I'm packing's real bad
If I could grab a hold of your soul, and never let go
Do the Jump, do the Hump and say "Ho"
Now that's the state of mind I'm in, uh,
With rhyme after rhyme I win
The Mac (The Mac) never breaking them off
Some of them laying in a pad of Funk, keeping your speakers bumpin
The migitty miggity Mac came to get a wall
And my pants to the back that's my everyday uniform
You little crew puff Mac Daddy wannabe
Keep dreaming cause a Mac you will never be
So all ya'll with the Dr. Suess rentals
You can get the finger...the middle

Chorus
Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Cause that's what I was born to do
Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Cause that's what I was born to do(2x)

(Hey yo Chris, kick it)

Verse 2
I caught you at the store (the store)
Peepin at my ride cause it's dope (it's dope)
And for you there's no hope,
My name (is what?) Daddy Mac baby
Totally Crossed Out catching all the ladies
The H-I-P, I should be playing wit toys
Instead I put my head into making you make noise
That's how I keep it, that's my everyday life, and
I rehearse to keep it sharp as a knife man
I'm the grown brother who sucks to be messed with
Cause when I put the mic in my hand I start recking it
They call me the D-A Double D-Y M-A-C***
There ain't another brother bad as me
When (I let go), sumthing from the (ghetto), word
Little brother kicking rhymes like you never ever heard
Daddy of them all, shooting to kill, like a gun,
Showing suckers how it's done

Chorus
Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Cause that's what I was born to do
Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Casuse that's what I was born to do(2x)

Yea, now ya'll know whats up
And the Mac's all that
Yea, and we're going to kick one more verse for ya'll

Verse 3
Some of these homies try to rhyme, but you can't touch this
I'm kicking the type of flow that makes you say "You're to much Chris"
So feel the fire, of the one they call the Mac Dad
The fine brother packing, and what I'm packing's real bad
If I could grab a hold of your soul, and never let go
Do the Jump, do the Hump and say "Ho"
Now that's the state of mind I'm in, huh,
With rhyme after rhyme I win
I'm the grown brother who something to be messed with
Cause when I put the mic in my hand I start recking it
They call me the D-A-W-G M-I-C,
There ain't another brother bad as me
When (I let go) sumthing from the (ghetto) word
Little brother kicking rhymes like you never ever heard
Daddy of them all, shooting to kill, with the gun,
Kris Kross show them how it's done

Chorus
Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Cause that's what I was born to do
Warm it up Chris
I'm about to
Warm it up Chris
Casuse that's what I was born to do (3x)

Zach Braziller
Isaiah Lewis late arrival to #stjbb Midnight Madness.

I believe he was originally supposed to be attending Kansas' MM, but he's in Queens tonight.

Maybe with their 3 non-qualifiers, it put us on even footing?? ;) ;D

You have to turn it on, look for the speaker symbol. Still isn't the best quality.
