The Johnnies vs. C.W. Post on SNY - Postgame Discussion

I read over on Redmen that our exhibition game versus C.W. Post will be televised on SNY on Tuesday night.  Heckuva job by the Johnnies administration, if that is the case.  Schools like Kentucky, UNC, Duke, several Big 12 schools and now Big 10 schools (due to the Big 10 Network) have been getting their exhibition games shown on tv for a few years or longer.  I'm glad we're finally getting up to snuff.

I hope there is a pretty good turnout for the game on Tuesday.  Fortunately, for folks like myself, who aren't near the area, can watch the game via television.  Once again, a solid job by the administration.   

This is what needed to be done.

I remember back in the day seein like all them early season games on MSG like the Lapchick Tourney and whatnot. A lotta brothers got their first taste of St. John seein those games, even if they was a bunch of scrubs.

Too bad Im a gonna miss this one. But the lord's work requires me across the Earth again. Expect a full report when I get back in a few my brothers.

Will it be webcast as well?  You can see a lot of sports from the ends of the earth these days....

The STJ Basketball Twitter account retweeted someone earlier today who mentioned that the game would be on SNY tomorrow at 7. I assume the website is wrong and the game will be on TV.

I noticed that too  but the game is listed on the cable box tv listings.

The game is listed on my cable programming.  I can't make it to the game due to work obligations and I already set the DVR to record it.

I live in Rockland County, NY, and Cablevision has it slated to be on SNY (channel 60) at 7 PM.
I'm hoping it's not a mistake.

Some cable providers, connections etc take awhile to update programming. Especially if this became official in the last few days.

Does anyone know of any way to get this online? Ive checked espn3 but they dont show it airing tomorrow. I live in shitty Philly and need a way to watch. athtd or something like that, does that still work? Appreciate any help

Tuesday's matchup will be carried live in its entirety on SNY as a production of the newly-created St. John's Television Network (STJ-TV). Tony Luftman, "The Voice of STJ-TV," will bring fans all of the action from courtside as former St. John's standout Tarik Turner provides fans with preseason analysis of the Red Storm.

St. John's continues its exhibition slate with NCAA Division III opponent St. Mary's (Md.) on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Television information will be announced at a later date.
