Last few years you are correct. This will no longer be the case in a year or two. Syracuse will be in the ACC. St. John's will be powerhouse again and dominating the NY media. Cuse will never get the back pages. When St. John's is selling out the Garden , Dolan won't have to placate Cuse to fill the building anymore.

They are on TV tonight because their alumni graduate and stay in NY, and when there is a game on TV, they watch it. When there is a game at MSG, they f'n go. You think that's going to stop because they won't be the BE? I don't.
What we can do, is pay attention to our program, and hope that the pathetic fan base that defines us grows over time.
That is the only way we'll ever compete with Syracuse in our/their city.
