We made our predictions early on... the question is now, how many games do you see us winning from here on out?

Halfway through conference play
9 Conference games left.  Two are against a ranked team.

I think we win 3 more, and lose a couple close ones.   Cuse will not be in either of those categories unfortunately.

If they continue with the same effort and Greene can keep it up, they can get 4 or 5 more wins in Big East. Depaul twice,Cincy and ND at home. Would love to steal 1 out of the 3 away against Hall,Pitt or Rutgers. 8 wins would be a great year now

Most predictions were made before Nuri bailed also.  Whether you thought he was great for this team or not a good fit, the fact we lost a body that playing 35 a night has to affect the team negatively from a foul and stamina perspective.

Curious how many " fans"  will take the under. I'll go with ....none  Too bad your not an odds maker in Vegas.

Ive been on spot lately on this board. If youre so confident, postt the games we win, as I did :)

Only thing i'm confident in is that your 3 wins in the BE will be wrong.   If your right, i'll stop posting here.   Care to do the same if your wrong?   Hot shot

Whew!!! I don't have to stop posting at least.  God forbid my productivity during the work day increase...  ;)

Lots of 7's and 8's. Nice Job. I think we get one more which will lock up 7. FTR, I predicted 8.  Still a chance.

Baldi and Realfan will bring up the rear with 3 and 5 wins respectively.   LOL!

C'mon Baldi. Big East isn't that bad. I read an article this morning saying the Big East could get 10 bids. I think realistically they will get 8-9, but why do you have to make excuses for your wrong prediction, just say the team exceeded your expectations.

Big East is overrated imo. How many teams outside of Cuse, do you think can win it all?
Oh the team has definitely exceded my expectations. Dunlap has done an incredible job.

No one thought Uconn could win it all last year. I heard many people say the Big east was over rated last year. Most teams were out after 1st or second round.

Overrated compared to what?  Overrated is a relative term.  If I am a pitcher and go 24-2 one year and everyone says I am the greatest and the next year I go 19-10 and people say I am overrated, but it turns out my 19 wins are still better then everyone else, where am I overrated?  Compared to myself the year before?

Is the BE as good as it was last year, probably not.  Definitely a step down with traditional powers like Pitt, Villanova and now UCONN having off years.  No doubt.  But overrated, compared to who?  The PAC 10, the SEC, the ACC.  I would match the BE on a consistent basis this year over any of those conferences top to bottom.   The Big 10 and the Big 12 maybe but certainly the Big East will have NCAA participation comparable if not better then both of those conferences even this year.

Now the MAAC, that is a different story.  No doubt the BE is down compared to the MAAC.  St. Peter's and Canisius would probably be around 8-10 in the BE this year and Iona would win the conference.

Marco, wow, is that weak. You knew what conference SJU played in when you made your picks. Another chance for you. Glover shooting% + - 680 when your team done for season?

What does the MAAC have anything to do with this thread?

Marquette and Georgetown are in 2nd and 3rd place in the Big East. These teams put a scare into you come NCAA tourny time? Not me. Georgetown might not make it out of the 1st round. Notre Dame,South FLorida are next. More 1st round casualties
