Curious how many " fans"  will take the under. I'll go with ....none  Too bad your not an odds maker in Vegas.

Ive been on spot lately on this board. If youre so confident, postt the games we win, as I did :)

Only thing i'm confident in is that your 3 wins in the BE will be wrong.   If your right, i'll stop posting here.   Care to do the same if your wrong?   Hot shot

Nah, thats not good for business. Especially WHEN Im proved WRONG! Hate me that much huh?

i don't hate anyone, just having fun.  What does  Dave kick you for stirring the pot anyway? free passes to some clubs at the jersey shore or something.  Mark Sanchez fat-head posters?

Actually, I think there is a seperate mailbox for posters complaing to Dave about Baldi

Well, i for one, have never complained to Dave about you.  i know your gig.  You just need to be called on it once in a while.

There are quite a few new posters i've noticed that you may be able to mold and take under your wing.  Apprentices you might say.  Guys, or girls, that are ready to jump ship already...  you sending them private recruitment e-mails?

I was waiting for someone to say I have an alternate poster name in IllWILL

nah, at least you try and mask your stupidity.  ;)

Btw-  I'm kidding willy.  Don't go all crazy CAPS and threaten my life or anything please.

Any Big East team that you think we have no shot at beating? How about a team that we cannot lose to?

FWIW I don't think there's a team we CAN'T lose to on a given day.

Who do we have a 50-50 shot of beating?   I'd say Depaul (2x), WVU, USF, and the Hall.    A split from Cinn is certainly possible.  And I don't think Rutgers lives up to they hype, we could take them.
That gets us 7.   I'm not saying it happens.. but if I had to justify getting more than 6, that would be my route.

I'm also a strong believer that teams that much like last year, teams that play us man to man, and who don't have knock-down 3point shooters, are suspect to upset.   Cuse on the other hand, will be our worst nightmare.

I think we can get anywhere from 4-7 Big East wins.   8-10 would be a great achievement, and the sign of great things for next year.

Please forgive my grammar.   I'm relatively new to posting here - like our young team, my posts will improve with a little experience.  Maybe by Big East play I'll even be speaking english.

Honest question, are you a STJ fan? It seems like you get too much joy in seeing them fail

7 wins, im assuming we learn from yesterday and get better as the year rolls foward. Im assuming also that garrett and cummings are in the fold for a deeper bench.

If i was setting the line, id put it at 6.5 -  i think we win six or seven.

And id obviously prefer us beat cuse...forget my allegiance to duke for a second, weve beaten duke more recently, duke doesnt advertise that they are nys team...despite being as much nys team as syracuse claims thry are...dukes assistants arent child molestors, and coach k if he saw a ballboy in a hotel room w an assistant would prob rip the assistants head off and not just pretend like he didnt see anything like boeheim.  Syracuse is the epitome of evil.   I hope we destroy them.  And i hope boeheim is fired the next day.

For those saying over with 7,8 wins- can you tell me who they are coming against?

We are not the only team with problems. The difference is that ours are understandable. What's Villanova's excuse? AA backcourt. McDonald's kids all over the roster. Cinci was ranked higher than us, and they now have two losses far worse than losing to a CAA team-which really, isn't do bad anymore.

Correct.
STJ has a propensity to play to the level of competition as well.  Just as there aren't many easy sure fire wins, the same goes with losses.

If your a betting man sure.  But stranger things have happened.  Not saying we are going to win but it could be competitive for all we know.  Kentucky plays UNC on Saturday.  Maybe they overlook us a bit.

Maybe our zone will cause problems for the 'cats.   Has Kentucky faced a strong zone yet this season?

It is going to be a rough season for sure, but I think we surprise a ranked team or two along the way.  I predicted 13 wins on the year, and I'll stick by that.  I think this squad is insanely good next year, though. Sweet 16.

I doubt they have faced a strong zone.  Unfortunately, our zone really isn't strong, either.  Maybe, we can get into some passing lanes and cause some deflections and get some run outs.  Not to mention, UK have a handful of guys who can hit outside shots in Miller, Lamb and Jones.  If, they aren't hitting their outside shots then it could end up being a fairly, competitive game.

I'm usually pretty optimistic, but I have a hunch this isn't gonna be close.
