I was looking forward to watching Cavataio and Boothe, the chsaa recruits

I am a high school friend of Boothe's and I played CYO basketball against Cavataio. It was one of my favorite classes as a fan for very personal reasons.

I actually though Justin was much improved last year from his JR year

I remember DJ Kennedy used to turn it over a lot because he tried to take everything to the rim. He started to realize the stuff he did in high school wouldn't fly on the college level. He developed a midrange J and then by his senior year was extended to beyond the arc.

DJ was a late signee correct? Probably Norms best, better than Hardy?

How much better did Evans get thru the years? We should take a look at the thread of him signing here. I was never expecting too much from him, but at times he seemed to perform some sort of miracle. Remember that Richmond game?

i remember the duke game last year. where evans came off the bench for 10pts on 5-5 shooting. at one point he subbed in and scored like 7 points in under 2 minutes.  (checking the stats, he had a few good games vs duke. in '09 he had 15 and 5, in '10 he was 17 and 7. although these could have easily been garbage minutes.)

No way. Hardy is the best SJ player since Hatten.

I think he just meant DJ turned out to be Norms best recruit...   meaning HS recruit.

Can't argue that Hardy was the best player we've had in years though
