It'll be tough for SJU to get this one. I picked Providence to beat the Johnnies and gladly have egg on my face.
So with that said said I'll go--- UConn  77 St. John's 68

Keep in mind Calhoun is serving a 3 game suspension as part of his sanctions.  So it will be battle of the substitute teachers:

George Blaney vs Mike Dunlap.

With the youth that we have, i assume inconsistency from game to game at this point.  Hopefully I will be wrong, but I feel this one could get ugly.

UCONN - 81
SJU - 60

I would love to be wrong on this.

When we play our best we can give anyone in this conference a run for there money but these freshman have been inconsistent as freshman tend to be. I think we get a little reality check here.

Hs to predict these things.  We certainly are capable of winning when we play well at both ends.  This is a tough one with uconn's size and home advantage, plus they want revenge.  They only beat USF by 2 points today though and Calhoun won't be on the bench to rally the troops quite the same.  Uconn should be favored by 8 and win by that much.   If we play like we did vs providence, it can certainly be a win.  I expect ups and downs this season
And they will key on Harkless and make us go to others to score.

As the opponent gets better the players become more dificult to defend. Fouls become more prevalent and ... well you know what that means.

Incurably optimistic and certain that our guys are too naive to believe that they can't beat UCONN.

I'm not predicting any scores, but if win this game then all bets are off what to expect the remainder of the season.

No prediction, but I really hope we see the same aggressiveness from Moe on the offensive end as we saw against PC. If he stays that aggressive, i think we have a chance.
