Probably a mistake, it's happened before.

Coach checking out Carlos? Would not be surprised if this kid is an early commit IMHO.

Gompers just lost to Boys & Girls 72- 53 .  I am trying to find out now how Galan played.  I don't believe Lavin was there however.

He did have a monster game tonight ( Fludd)  You won't find a bigger Fludd fan than me.. But I just don't know where he plays at the college level.  Classic tweener

How good of a leaper is Fludd?

I'm one of the fans who isn't worried at all about our recruiting this season . . . but if we for some horrible reason still don't have bodies two months from now an undersized backup PF is better than no one at all.

Great leaper.. But he is way to small to play the 4.

Just finished watching the video of the playoff game Galan had vs boys and girls. I still like the kid severe as our guy but Galan has some potential. He finished with 16 points against a far superior boys and girls team that keyed in on him all game. Actually Fludd guarded him most of the game. Galan dosent seem in top shape but has a pretty good handle and a nice stroke. His first step is more deception than speed and his game is more skill than explosiveness. What I liked most however is his sportsmanship, excellent teammate from what I saw! Again I repeat Severe is a stud with a better all around game but if Galan takes his final year as a prep year I'm excited to see what the final product would be. In other news Leroy Fludd is a good player with a great motor, reminds me of a very poor mans jae crowder. By no means though do I believe he is a big east talent though. Not enough size to bang, and not enough ball skills to play on the perimeter. Feel bad for the kid because he's gonna have a rough time getting a high level ship being the tweener he is.

Lavin was in attendance.

I'm watching Galan and like what I see. Scorer mentality and smooth game.

watched Galan play in Port Chester last nite, boy can he shoot! he is maybe 6' but had no prob getting his shot off. every time the team they played made a run he hit back to back 3's from deep. Even when he missed it stayed on the rim awhile. He was more impressive than Hall was in the game after. Galan shot is much quicker and way more pure.

“@DanielJMartin_: Watching #STJbb target Carlos Galan here in Harlem. Physical guard. Unafraid of contact. Long arms, smooth crossover. Dash of flash.”
