does anyone else besides me feel bad watching norm sit on the Florida bench (FL vs Rutgers)?  Felt much better for him when he was working on SNY.  He just looks like he doesn't add anything.

What I am feel bad about is that Donovan had the nerve to ask Rutgers for a game to bring Rosario back up there to rub in their faces and Rutgers didn't have the nerve to say eff off.  I suppose the games might have already been agreed to before the transfer but that would seem unlikely.

You came to this conclusion from seeing him a split second on the bench from your TV? A little presumptuous?

I'm pretty certain Florida who's 10-2 with their two losses at the hands of two teams who could play in the national championship is pretty good situation for Coach Roberts. Personally I'd rather sit next to Billy Donovan than Gary Apple any day of the week.

You think bench players dictate Florida's scheduling? :)

Funny.  That said why else would Billy want to take a road trip to Jersey right before the conference schedule starts.

I bet Billy's asking himself that same question right now.  Good on Rutgers though there's still a little time in the 2OT.

We are still talking about Norm Roberts?

He was a good man, lousy coach.  No need to wish him anything less  than the best in his future endeavors.  Living in Florida working as an assistant at one of the best programs in the country for a terrific head coach.  I'll sign up for that in a second.

Probably recruiting purposes with all of the talent in New Jersey good chance to advertise your team

So much for Donovan using Rutgers as an advertisement to play for Florida.  Rutgers 85, Florida, 83, double overtime!

Billy the Kid wanted to play at Rutgers to promote Florida hoops in what has become one of the more fertile recruiting grounds.
