Hadn't seen this mentioned on the boards.   DJ is 10 games into his NBDL career, Playing for the Erie Bayhawks.

Averaging 12.4 pts, 6.4 rebs, 2.2 assists.  He's had high scoring games of 21 pts, and high rebs of 10 (twice).

Good luck!

Great to hear. I think he'd make a fine Knick. Mike Bibby and Baron Davis need to retire.

Well, Bibby maybe.   We need the PR benefits of an active Knick  showing up on a regular basis at ST Johns to haang with Lavin and work out with Rico....

Anthony Mason is also off to a very strong start.   Playing for the Souix Falls Skyforce, he's averaging nearly 17pts and 5 boards thru 15 games.

Brownlee's playing for Maine averaging 13.5.

And 7.9 boards.  Started 10 of their 14 games.  He's hitting 39% on 3s.   The number he's taken (47 in 14 games) it looks like he's playing the 3 for them....

That makes sense. Brownie is a 3. Both will play in the league sooner or later.

I love that Brownlee, Mase and DJ are all playing in the D League. They're better than that and I have a feeling we will be seeing all of them in huge arenas soon.

Not sure of the overall %, but in the last 3 seasons, 67 NBDL players have been called up to the NBA...

they are earning more in the d-league than they could in europe their first year. rookies in europe earn like 15- 20,000 (just ask P horne or sean). dwight is the only one seeing some decent money right now, and his due for a big pay raise if he stays with that team next year

The kid Gerrity played at UNCC.  I remember him being pretty bad and more like someone you would run with in an open gym rather than a D1 starting PG.  He played at 3 different schools

HE ended up as the starting PG at U$C, and started for 3 different D1 teams.  Much more than a pick up player.  Started his career at Pepperdine, where he was 14pts 4 assists as a frosh, before a coaching change started his odyssey.  Had injury problems thru the rest of his college years.    He was extremely effective at U$C, despite the continuing injuries.  Because of the injuries and transfers, he's 26 years old, one season out of college.

And talk nice about him.  He's got a kid brother back in Cali who's a heck of a prospect!  :)

I only got to see him the one time.  I don't get many UNCC game on TV here in NY.  Went to the Fordham game and was very underwhelmed, but again just one game.
