Is this yancy's  7th year or what?

Yancy should be in prison. That school is an absolute disgrace.

Cincy will pressure early at home. If St. John's can weather that early they have a chance.

I'm kind of curious if they do pressure/trap full court if St. John's length can effectively beat and lead to fast break baskets. I think Cincy is better served packing the paint sitting in a 2/3 zone to beat St. John's. We'll see.

In a typical game i'd expect Cinci to apply the full court pressure but against us I've got to assume they'll pack the paint like you said.  I expect to see a lot of zone today.

One reason I could see them applying some full court pressure though is because if it takes us 8seconds or so beat the trap and get the ball across half court - we're that much closer to the shot clock winding down.  Forcing us to spend 5-6 extra seconds bringing the ball up might hurt us even if it doesn't result in turnovers.

Likewise.  I also think they are kinda undiscipline.

Ugh players need to be ready. Too many dropped balls.

What should have been an easy dunk by Gift leads to transition 2 the other way. Little things that freshman do.

Careless effort so far. Come on Dunlap. Say something inspiring.

This team is so hard to watch.

They play and make decisions like a bunch of freshmen. Where is the IQ? (I know they ARE freshmen but that doesn't mean you can't play above your grade) It's about coaching and being in the right spot, using your brain to make smart decisions, and this team continues to take terrible shots, careless turnovers.

They are so lucky Cincy has missed like 6 wide open 3's or this would be out of hand already

Kilpatrick is going to kill us today. Pointer and Gift are lost out there. I would like to see Moe play with some emotion

I wouldn't mind seeing St. John's deliver some full court pressure. Cincy's ball handlers are suspect

Every time Gift dribbles in the lane he turns it over.

Awful. Hard to watch. Seriously, give me a walk on over Stith
Greene leans back when he shoots a wide open 3. I'd like someone to ask him not to do that. Dunlap perhaps.

Less would be more however he catches post defenders sleeping sometimes.

I wouldn't mind St.John's never playing a zone again. Ever.
And for the love of God, rebound the f'n ball!

I think he can shoot but his shot selection has been poor. He's being asked to do more than he's capable of right now. If he was coming off the bench like he was earlier in the season he'd be more productive.

I agree...they aren't good enough to play the zone defense.

All the pre season talk about being long and athletic has proven to be futile...they have no idea how to rotate properly in the zone. Wide open 3's are a trend EVERY SINGLE GAME
