But on a serious note, I feel the same.

Greene needs a lot of practice. I hope they can turn him into a contributor next season.

 Your lips to god's ears.

Serious question baldi,  Where did all the optimism come from?  A few short weeks ago you had Lavin back in LA.

Man when he hits that floater/pull up, it looks so sweet.  But when he doesn't he looks Cedric-esqe.

No better practice than 35 minutes a night in the Big east.  He'll be a fine player for us for the next 3 1/2 years.

I hope he is, but they should be working on the form of his jumper right now. It's awful. Although its better than Stith

Greene has been thrust into a role that he wasn't ready for and many freshman are not ready either. He will be so much better for it when he goes into a sixth man role to provide instant offense and a quick motor off bench.

I would love to go to war with those 11 and bring in the rest in 13 and 14. The only addition I would make is a sharpshooter off bench to provide 5 minutes a half.

The one good thing about Harrison fouling out was it unleashed the worst backcourt in SJU history for extended minutes. I feel Stith / Greene bypassed last years occasional pairing of Boothe/ Stith for the dubious honor. The amazing thing is this knocks the Geno / Boothe pairing Norm troted out on occasion all the way to third all time. Just think this is a program that once had a Jackson / Mullin backcourt.

I understand Greene is only a freshman and he is not a point but I do think at this in time, Stith might be just as good and they should probably split time more evenly.

As far back as I have been a fan which was Mullin's frosh season. Can you come up with a worse pairing?

Does not count becuase of Showtime. Otherwise Bobby Kelly and Mullin would be a consideration becuase Kelly stunk. Though I guess technically it would be Kelly and Goodwin. But anyway if one of the guys is good, no matter how crappy the 2nd guy is it doesn't count. Both guys must be bad to qualify.

That's funny Choz, I was bored and was randomly looking at the boscores from that season before I saw your post.

We ran out Andre Stanley, Devin Mayo, Nygel Roach, Joe McDonald, and Phil Missiere as walkon's that season and I believe that one game at least after the Pitt incident Showtime started with Cuffe and 3 walk on's

To boo, those Lavin rumors weren't my opinion-just repeated what I was told. But I also argued the point.

This team has surPrised the hell  out of me. We are getting some peaks into whats going to be. They are showing some flashes of good Big East play already with a depleted roster. Future is bright, these kids will remember the beatings they catch this year and come back harder next year

Yes. Ready?

Any walk on from 03-04 and Andre Stanley
Ricky Torres and Cedric Jackson
Malik Boothe and Mike Cavataio

But it does count, because Harrison is the starter, not Stith. Sith and Greene are not the starting backcourt. Thank God.

The problem is that he doesn´t hit it.

He is 34-113 (.301) on field goals. And 8-40 (.200) in three point shots.
