If he ends up a baseball player, that's fine with me. Still, it certainly seems like he's going to try and develop into a future pro in both sports. That's pretty cool IMOP. It's also a neat story for the school. When was the last time anyone cared about a St.John's player?

St. Johns shortshop Joe Panik was picked by the Giants in the first round of the MLB draft last year (and promptly hit .341 in half a season of A ball). So someone cared about him.

Amir is pretty raw as a baseball player. He has more of chance of playing pro baseball than hoops, but I dont see us losing him to full time baseball for long time, if ever.

The problem with baseball is that you can't go to Europe and make 700K when MLB doesn't come through.

There is a calmness to Amir's game that I just love.  If he stays four years, he and Harrison will just bully kids with their mental toughness.

I agree, for a player who has only played a few games, he seems as though he started the year with the other Freshman. He seems to be at the right place on defense and loose balls. On offense while not a natural, is not intimidated at all by the surroundings or game situations. Love his upside, a glue type of player.

I'm the president of Harrison fan club, but due to his size and lack of position, he'll be here for four years.

And the minors.   Plenty of places for baseball players to earn a living.   Not boat loads of cash, but I don't think the guys overseas in bball are making that either.
