Look at the diffence between being a top 7 or 8 picks and at the bottom half of the 1st round. Certainly nothing to sneeze at the later end of the 1st round but as a financial advisor it's a no brainer to say if you have a chance the following year to be top 5 to stay for another year. Pretty interesting website

I would fire any financial advisor that would tell me it's an obvious choice to turn down a multimillion per for year job for $30,000 a year job for next year (the value of a scholarship).  I agree he'll be back, but it's not as obvious as some make it out to be.  Look at the value of a scholarship vs. the value of a first round pick.  You also never know what can happen with injuries if you wait a year.  I would never fault a kid for coming out to the draft if he's projected to be a first round pick.

More reason for a guy like Jakarr or Shepard to come on board.  there is ample time and Mor's spot will be warm for only one season more at most.

True, but what it has everything to do with is whether or not our program can benefit from a one and done. If he leaves ala
Omar Cook, it reinforces the belief that others have always had about this program. That no one cares about it. Empty seats, no recruits coming in, a coach recovering from cancer and losing records for 8-9 seasons make up our public profile.

He can go, but the only way it works out for everyone is if he goes in the lottery and he's a stud from day one. Otherwise it looks like he just wanted to get away as fast as he could.

Personally, he's my favorite Johnny since Lavor Postell, and whatever he chooses to do, he has my full support.

Classic Maher, I'm not sure I would take him on even if he had money with that comment. That quote right there is the main concern I have with people handling their own SS, it would be scary. lol

We want him to get drafted in the lottery, and be a star in the league. That can happen, but I don't think it's even reasonable to mention it until he plays like an NBA player. Wes Johnson was one of the best BE players I've ever seen. He was also a 6'8 swingman like Harkless. Similar build. He's averaging 10 ppg in the league. He was pick #3.

You have a hardon for everything syracuse.  Its disgusting and makes me want to puke.  If wes johnson was one of the best be players youve ever seen, you know jack shit abt basketball.  It was obvious he was going to be a bust in thr nba.

The guy who has to work on boxing out is moe.  He has a great knack for rebounding and jumps well, but doesnt always box.  Addingng a box to his reboundng game will make him that much stronger.

Did gift box out one time today?

Do you DVR games?  Go back and check out him clearing out space for Moe and other rebounders.  Dirty job but someone has to do it.

The guy who has to work on boxing out is moe.  He has a great knack for rebounding and jumps well, but doesnt always box.  Addingng a box to his reboundng game will make him that much stronger.

Did gift box out one time today?

Do you DVR games?  Go back and check out him clearing out space for Moe and other rebounders.  Dirty job but someone has to do it.

He either needs a better handle to play 3, or get bigger and play 4.  Plenty of similar sized 4s if he just gets bigger.   That being said, his most potential is absolutely at 3 and he already prob has as good a handle as artest.   Boxing is still a good habit to get into bc it shows you have a command of bball funsamentals and dont rely only on natural aleticism, but that said, yes, as a3 in the NBA its not as big a deal, as a 4 for us it could help against a reounding beast like plumlee though.

Good thing for Mo is that it doesnt matter that he's playing a lot of 4 this year.  He's doing a great job, getting big exposure and learning the game.
