Tim Welsh calling out StJ fans

on SNY post game, calling out St Johns fans to fill the garden on Sat and not let it be a majority Orange crowd

That's nice of him to do, but St.John's has already sold a significant amount of tickets to brokers who in turn sold them to SU fans.

Can Tim give me a ride to the game?

I'm not sure he was calling for them to come out or making fun of Tarik Turner for Syracuse dominating the crowd. He's not wrong but he sounds like a douche.

We know the Syracuse fans will come down into the city. All I hope for is that the student section be loud. They are closer to the floor and the players hear them more.

I would be too if I were him. Should have never taken the Providence job. That and Seton Hall are probably the toughest jobs in Big East. He and Willard should have waited another year or so

I don't know why Welsh would have anything but love for SJ. He owned us.

I'm a student but I'm not going to the game because of work. I'll probably only be able to get to the UCLA, DePaul and Notre Dame games.

I think it was Welsh tonight that said St Johns is right outside his top 8 Big East teams. Also that SJU now might be the best team in the NY area

These 12 o'clock games are a pain.   Anyone know of a good bar serving breakfast near msg?   I expect stout to be over run with Cuse characters.

Before the Nova game I went to this place called Tick Tock Diner. I had a burger but I wouldn't endorse it.

He also said memo to coaches, you don't want to schedule STJ next season-- they are going to be very good
