This is big time news worthy. I admit I don't pay much attention to the women's team but beating UConn at UConn is a statement.

According to the Post only the 5th home loss for Yukon women since 199-freakin-3! At "Midnight Madness" the Lady Storm came across as a very fun loving and talented group...easy to root for. Good to see them get a big one. That's a big time win right there.

I love this team. The ladies are excellent,  this was a huge win. I'm proud to have been able to cover them this year for The Torch.

 If you're in town stop by the game Tuesday, they're playing West Virginia at Carnesecca.

This is right up there with ND over UCLA in Mens basketball way back when in the early-1970's.

I can't say enough about the job that the St. John's women BB-coach has done here. (thumbs-up)

One poll has us #25 and Rutgers with the same 18-8 record #20. We beat Rutgers twice and #2 Uconn. What gives? Do the voters even follow the results?

they just beat a tough West Va team (which beat ND-tops in Big East).  RPI before game was 17.  if they beat Nova, they get the double bye in BE tournament.

They played a great team tonight and basically ran them off the court. The scoreboard said they won by 9 but they outplayed them all night long. Nadirah is a beast and is in the world against me mode.

Also, ESPN polls showed them NO RESPECT.

Lady Johnnies win @ # 12 G-town this afternoon. If ND beats UConn tonight then SJU finishes 2nd in the conference.
