Uconn with a early lead, from source today. "uconn with an arm distance out up front"

He must be pumped to play in the Question Mark conference.
Lol brother, I said the same exact thing but it's the kids these days. They want to go where is cool or fashionable not where there's stability and room to grow which explains the overwhelming amount of transfers

Would you say its a big disappointment if we miss on both Whitehead and Carrington?  I haven't see Carrington but he sounds like another Amir, no?  I need  some new '14 names.  Not much out there being mentioned with us.
Nothing like Amir , can score with the best of them just a little left hand dominant at this point, but still has a great handle. And if we miss out on both of  them were doomed

Thanks.  I thought I read his outside shot was suspect but improving.  And I know of the LH dominance so that was what I meant by another Amir.  Should I trademark 'Doomed'? ;)
Ha might as well until we dance, but even then somebody will deem us "doomed"

Outside of Carrington and Whitehead, is Lavin even recruiting anybody else for '14?

Not that the sites are the most accurate but Rivals has us listed with the following in addition to the two mentioned.

C- Paschal Chukwu (CT)
G- Tyrone Taylor (Missouri)
G- Rashard Figures (NJ)
G- Shavar Newkirk (NY)
G- Tadric Jackson (GA)
F- Terry Larrier (NY)
G- Conrad Chambers (PA)
G- CJ Davis (NY)
G- Parker Jackson Cartwright (CA) (I am pretty sure we have no chance with him nor are involved much anymore)

Scout also has-

SF- DJ Davis (CA)

ESPN has-

G- Jared Terrell (MA)
F- Jarred Reuter (MA) (Wasn't he '15?)
SF- Joe Burton (TX)
SF- Shaqquan Aaron (CA)

We need size and a kid like Quadri Moore from Linden fits the bill .  No clue if we are recruiting him however.

Dare I ask is he BE caliber playing

Lavin and Rico are behind Loughlin bench. Carrington looks poised, quick and scores well. As Happy, I think, noted in past he goes left most of time , but he looks solid. Just getting a glimpse, but like what I see so far fwiw.

Carrington is shooting it much better while being his slinky self.  Very impressive half..and Mike Williams continues to be the most underated kid in NY.

Like Williams too! Is he BE level player? Looks like he has physical tools to be a solid college player.

He is a typical 6'2 shooting guard. Probably not. But he is fun to watch.  A kid like that goes to Hofstra and has a great career.

Couldn't agree more. Going to be a steal for the right team.   I see Anthony Vernon is still on the Josh Smith workout plan smh

Tony Chiles is at Carrington's game today. Staff realizes, IMO, that Whitehead will be tough to get, so this is a decent option.

In fairness, I saw Hines at Carrington's last game with Lavin. Know what you are saying though.

My memory is shot... But has Hines been the point man on any recruits since he has been on the staff?
