A simple PM would suffice
When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

Good question. I don't know.  I cant imagine Lavin uses all 6 schollies though.  I took him off.  Sorry for acting like a chick.

I think Lavin plans to use four for April with one more on hand for a big time decommit...saving the last for next year.  You always want to leave one scholly open (see Branch).

Is Garrett on a scholarship?  I thought the Reds were paying for his college.

From what was said, they pay but it counts against our scholarship limit.   At least that's what I remember hearing.

For the recruiting gurus, our we in better shape with the 2013 class than the upcoming one? I think we should save 3 for next year, Lawrence, Jordan and Severe

We're finishing a year with 6 scholarship players !!
I hope we bring in 5-6 (but minimum 5) including Branch

Save only 1 plus GG graduates in May 2013
That gives you a minimum of 2, not including anyone leaving (Mo please stay at least 1 more year!)

We saw this year what could happen if you save to many schollys. Never know when someone will transfer or not qualify.

Whats the latest on Stith?

We have:

Branch
Harkless
Harrison
Greene
Pointer
God's Gift

That's 6.

Garrett is a wild card. Not sure if he is considered a scholarship or not. I think he isn't.

Stith isn't a scholarship anymore. From what I remember, he is staying with the team as an assistant.

Garrett is scholarship regardless of the Reds.

He is still on scholarship for  the remainder of the year.  That's why he got the grad assistant title---even though I never saw him at a game after he left the team.

Moose, how does that make any sense? If he is considered a scholarship, why would the Reds pay his way?
