I can't even keep track anymore.
Has BE said how they will treat BE schedule and tournament?

Neither can I.  The only change for next year is WVU will NOT be in the BE.  So that means 15 teams for 1 season.  Then Syracuse and Pitt will "probably leave" after next season.  Technically they need to stay untill 2014 but since SMU, Temple and others are set to join after next season the BE has said they are open to allowing Pitt and Syracuse to leave a year early.

My guess is 18 games.  Obviously not counting yourself as a potential opponent that means SJU and others have 14 possible BE opponents.  Play 10 of them once and the other 4 teams twice for a total of 18 (10 + 8).

And then the tournament is down to 14 teams since no Uconn.

Easiest with 14 teams would be to Give the top 4 seeds a double bye, seeds 5-10 a bye, and round 1 is 11 v. 14 and 12 v. 13.

You could also just run with 12 and not let 13/14 participate in the tournament, which I hate, but as we know, they did not include all teams in the past.

Ok, since there is nothing much going on, I'll say it, Iona is a13 seed in this projection.

They won't get an at large next year..  better win the league tourney.

Oh for sure. Im thinking Iona finishes in 3rd or 4th in MAAC. Unless Grasso has a trick up his sleeve, which is highly likely

I think Providence & USF have a shot at going to the tourney as well if Rudd stays
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

Rudd is staying.  He needs to get a valid drivers license though

If they have been including all 16 teams lately highly doubt they would exclude teams when they may be down to 14.

With 14, everyone should play in the first round, then give the highest remaining seed a day off for round two. Make the first round start with the 6/9 and 7/8 games on a Wednesday night, then the other five all day Thursday, three games Friday, two games Saturday, championship Sunday.

How about giving the top two seeds a bye.  3-14 play each other.  The 6 winners are then seeded with the top two.

Or we can do it the easy way. ;D

They'd want to play all the first round games in one day and six is too much for MSG to bear.  They'd want to have 3 DH's with 3 ticket prices.  Even 2 triple headers would be logistically impossible if they wanted to clear out the venue.  I remember the 5 game first rounds of the mid to late 90's.  Those were killer in a number of ways.  Amazing day of basketball that took days to recover from.
