I'll go with Pointer. Woulda gone w Amir, but he's playing baseball this summer. If Pointer finds a j, he'll be great.

I think it will be Gift but I want it to be Pointer.

How are the kids spending their summer? There we'll have our answer.

We went to Gift a lot earlier in the season, then he started to get chuck. Hopefully with Branch being a true PG he can find him more. Being that we still didn't bring in a Center I think Gift will be MIP .Everyone else will be competing for major minutes. My answer will change if we land two big men as plan
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

I'll go with Pointer.  I think he had the most room for improvement.

Gift was able to post up smaller bigs. When Arizona and A&M showed up, he was lost. More than anything, Gift's improvement needs to come in the form of his bball IQ. He doesn't know what he's doing out there.

Pointer.

I think Pointer too. Working with Rico all summer is going to do great things to his game.

I must've missed the news that Gift grew 3 inches. At his position that is the minimum requirement for beastdom.

Hey, I'm just judging from the amount of improvement I saw just in the few months he was on the team last year. He looked like he was on the cusp of putting it all together. There are also reports that he's way stronger than he was at the end of last season already.

Hoping Pointer can improve his jumper.  If so watch out.

I think Garrett will improve.  It was a really tough adjustment coming in half way through the year.  I don't think the Reds will stop him from taking jumpers on his own.

I do think Gift will show us more of what he did in the beginning of the year than the end.  He had a tough time adjusting to the Big East and lost some confidence.  But his play against Kentucky has my hopes up high for him.

Greene, he learns fast, works hard and, he'll be our starting PG for at least the first half of the season.

Does everyone on the board seem to think D'Angelo's growth is stagnant?  You don't get to be as good a frosh as he was by being a slacker.   And I'm guessing he's put in as much work this offseason as anyone on the team.   If Moe had stayed, he'd get my vote.   But with him gone, I say Harrison will be the most improved.

I think Garrett will explode!  Maybe not to the tune filling the stat sheet, but I think his offensive rebounding, ability to penetrate in the half court, defensive intensity, and improved stroke from deep will make him a kid that has to be on the court.  There is something about his presence on the court that just screams winner.  I'd waiger that he leads the league in drawing intentional fouls for a few years.  Both he and D'Angelo ooze court savvy. He's very calm and collected with the ball which is refreshing after seeing Dom and GG acting so hurried.

If Dom was the most improved player that might be the best for the team.   His physical abilities are just downright frightening.  There may not be a player in the country that can match what he can do in that department.  If his skills ever start catching up to that physical talent, we'll have a serious player.

I wouldn't count Greene out.  He has all the incentive in the world to work his tail of with Wood and Branch on his heels, knowing that he will be staring at PG for the first semester.  Can't forget that he took Nuri's job and started over a junior, probably causing Stith to transfer.

D'Angelo is already so good that I don't think he qualifies for this category.  The kid is just a monster.  Like Garrett his savvy and comptiveness is off the charts--although D's intensity is not the calm intensity like Garret, but more like raw emotion.

I'll be happy if Garrett is most improved.  We're going to terrorize teams if that happens.  But my gut tells me it will be Dom.  I think he needed this year to get his sailor's legs, and next year he will become a real force.
