Best package deal?

Although they may or may not have been total package deals one thing they definitely were are former teammates. I am talking about the tandems of Opekba-Balamou, Sampson-Hooper and Sanchez-Bourgault. Which one do you think is the best tandem. IMO Sanchez-Bourgault is the best short term yielding the best immediate results but the best long term with the highest potential is Opekba-Balamou with Sampson-Hooper being in the middle for both the short and long term. Just thought this is might be an interesting topic.

Sampson/Hooper. I think Sampson is clearly the best recruit we got and Hooper will be a marksman for us

And obekpa . Felix was very under recruited and undervalued. Obekpa = O-block-pa

You know, 3 package deals in one recruiting class is very strange.   In his 8 previous years as a head coach, Steve had never put together even ONE package.   well, there was one last year, but we took back the offer to the 2nd kid before it became official.

Individually, Sampson is the strongest recruit, but as a package, my vote is for Obekpa/Balamou. I love their upside, it's just too bad Coach Dunlap won't be developing it   :(.

Dont forget Amir and and Darrick. Both had to be re-recruited

Those two are not a package deal.  They played on same team as preps, but that's it.

You don't think Darrick seeing how determined Amir was to get back to St johns first hand didnt help in his recommitment?

I don't think it was any sort of package deal is what I said.  They aren't long time friends.  The package deal Lavs wanted with Darrick was Kyle Anderson.  Darrick still on board because he's a talent himself.

I know they say Juco transfers need a year but I  think its gonna be Orlando and Marco. Orlando seems like the jack of all trades and you can't discount a shooter like Marco. Plus they have some experience on a still very green team. team.
