Moe looking a bit like a deer in the headlights for his first game.  That is okay, he'll figure things out.  Going aggressive to the rack is just what he needs to get things going.  He has 2 pts at the half off a dunk on a fast break.

He's definitely looked tentative all game. Needs to be more aggressive on offense.

He definately picked things up in the second half.  Looks more relaxed.  Hit a nice 3 and then a put back for another two, bringing his game total to 7 I think.  Game still on but he has gone for a rest on the bench and may not make it in again.

“I felt all right,” said Harkless, who went for nine points and five rebounds in 23 minutes. “I hurt it about a month or so but I just have to fight through it. This was my first time actually playing. Once I got warmed up and everything it really wasn’t bothering me too much.”

Justin Burrell was the first Johnnie to play so far in the Vegas Summer League. He looked great in his debut. One of the first big men off the bench. He came in for Ezeli, who got drafted this year, and he was way more productive on the floor. Jumper was looking smooth. Ended up with 7 points (3-3) 2 Reb 1 Ast in 16 minutes.

The group that started our resurgence really were a great bunch of guys. I'm of course biased, but if I had to fill out a roster I'd take one of our former guys over some of the divas out there any day.

Burrell was the most talented player Norm brought in but he was also the biggest victim of a poor teaching staff. When Lavin and Co came in I think they did a pretty good job of getting a productive senior year out of him.

But, as a player, you have to get better ever year no matter who your coach is no? Unless its Sandusky.

My girlfriend is from Philly, I was down at Jersey Shore with her and her amily last weekend. It seems, everyone in Philly hates the Moe draft pick

Burrell gave a shoutout on Facebook to Evans, DJ, Paris, Moe and Hardy wishing them all luck with NBA Summer League.  6 logos were attached.  We know DJ is CLE, JB is GS, Moe is PHI, and Dwight is MIA.  The other two logos were PHX and CHA.  So Dunlap must have got someone an invite.

Kind of surprised Brownlee wasn't at least invited somewhere
FYI Paris Horne got the invite from Dunlap. Played in the game that followed Justin's, scored 7 and played with his usual energy and hustle. It looks like Coach is borrowing a page from Rick Pitino back in the day when he used a pressing trapping style coaching the Knicks.  Not as much talent in Charlotte obviously but the team is playing hard.

Paris played pretty good.  Hit a nice jumper and had a nice reverse layup.   he has definitely.improved his handle.

Watched Burrell play and later Horne.  Burrell looked really good, lots of energy and hustle.  I think Steve Kerr or Rick Fox referred to him as a "pogo stick" as he was really bouncy getting up to the rim.  Really pulling for Horne.  I'd like to see him create a little more for himself.

Any of the guys on TV today?
