Favorite/least favorite player in Big East?... not on SJU
« on: August 24, 2012, 06:59:46 PM »
Who is your favorite player in the Big East not in a St Johns uniform?

Im going to go wiith Fuquan Edwin. This guy does everything, long and athletic. Love guys like this on my team. Honorable mention-Russ Smith. Never thought he would make it at Louisville, improved the hell out of himself there.

Least favorite?

James Southerland, because I hate Syracuse and if I remember correctly-he shoved one of our guys after the horn. Might have been Harrison?
A close runner-up is my whipping boy Jayvaugn Pinkston. Tough to root for guys that knock out their 60 year old high school coach. I usually pull for local guys, but these 2, ahh not so much

I heard a story today about mayo from a guy I work who graduated from marq this yr.  apparently raped a girl that school covered up.  The story was girl did not come out right away which helped mayos cause.  Him and Vander blue are supposedly really bad kids and are ticking time bombs who are on severe watch by school.   I believe the kid because he also knew a lot about the issue with the guards from nova when the one was sleeping with the others gfriend when they got suspended for NCAA game 2 yrs ago. His father is a big alum at nova.

Dont post much because know nothing about the recruiting ins of our prospects but looking forward to seaon and posting about each game

I don't know about players. However,  most hated coaches are Calhoun and Bohiem. Favorite coach is Pitino.

Favorite:  Otto Porter.  Least:  Now that Scoop and Theodore are gone, I'd say it is a tie between Triche and Napier.

He only has a bad reputation because of that assault rap. Anyone can be cordial for a short period of time. He's a decent player, but nothing close to what was expected.

He was a punk last year against SJU, getting in Harkless' face all game long.

My last years least favorite was Gates by a long shot. Especially after he threw that sucker punch.

Gotta admit I like boatright, think he can be a 20 ppg player, if he develops a jumpshot he's Darryl hill 2.0 in my book, minus the handle add the athleticism
