Jameer and Delonte was a pleasure to watch.

One of my fave BE backcourts of all time (and I do hate to admit): Doron Sheffer/Ray Allen.

If Sheffer and Allen are up there, El Amin and Rip are too. No?

No doubt. But Doron/Allen was more fun to watch.

I think some young peeps (not you) forget how explosive Ray Allen was and think he only a catch and shoot based on his Celts time.
Parking only for NYCHA permit holders.

Tom Penders, first at Rhode Island and then at Texas, had two really good backcourts.

At URI in 1988 as an 11th seed down in the Dean Dome beat Missouri (6th seed) and then upset Syracuse (3 seed) (with Sherm Douglas, Derrick Coleman, Rony Seikaly) with the senior backcourt of Carlton Owens and Tom Garrick before losing in the round of 16 at the Meadowlands to Duke.

And of course at Texas he had BMW.  Lance Blanks, Travis Mays and Joey Wright.  Took them to the Elite 8 in 1990 losing to Arkansas and then SJU knocked them out in 1991 in the second round in Dayton.  The 1991 Texas team had Blanks and wirght but Mays had graduated to the NBA in 1990.

Ray Allen IMO is the best player in the history of the BE conference.
