He's going to be far and away our best player. I think if we make the tournament he will be the BE POY.

This is a list of the top 10 shooting guards for next years draft.

I can't say that I would take any of them over D'angelo for this coming season.

Think the guy who made that list was bored. Most college bball fans have never seen half of those guys play. One of them is a freshman.

I think Harrison has a very good shot to make first team Big East this season. I wasn't knocking the kid's game, just the over the top posters... I think we would have to have a VERY successful season, as a team, for D'Lo to end up POY.  Like top 3 regular season and getting to the tourney finals.

If we are talking about naming 5 better pro prospects at the position, that's one thing. After this season I think we will have a much clearer indication of what Harrison is . Is he a PG? Is he 2 guard?  Maybe he's just a guard that can score.   I'm going with choice 3 for now.

I'll take him on my team any day.

These conversations about DLo on the first team are spot on. I think he'll make it. It's the NBA talk that insane.

Curious - what is the percentage of former 1st team all big east players who DON'T make the NBA?  I know the name Scottie Reynolds get's mentioned a lot, but he is also the ONLY ALL American since 1976 not drafted by the NBA - so not sure if he's a true indicator or not.  And even with Scottie - when I read the comments on him not making the NBA, they don't seem to be of the "it's insane we even thought he could" - it seem much more "surprised he never made it"....

Scottie biggest mistake was staying 4 years D-LO won't make the same mistake. Scotie should of bounce after his 2nd year bet he would of been a 2nd rd pk. The long you stay in college or overseas the more the scouts pick at your game! This years weak draft of guards combo with a weak big east and NCAA D-1 is a perfect formal for me to say again top 20 in 2013! Write it down and book it folks.
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

If there is a weak pick of guards from the college ranks, NBA teams can go international for talent. The 2nd round doesn't mean they'll get a contract, or anything at all. Why not look at Scotty's decision as a good one? He's a making a fine living overseas and he has a degree from a very good school. Life is good for him.

Hatten, Hamilton & Hardy. Can't recall if Willie Glass was first team. Then again what defines "make it in the NBA"? Is it make to the NBA, even if it's only for a cup of coffee? Technically, Erick Barkley made it, but not the way all of us preferred. Still, better than nothing.

Judging by the fact he is trying out for NBA teams and can't make it, I view it as a mistake because his goal is to play in the NBA? I think it is awesome that he graduated from Nova and is making 6 figures seeing things I can only dream of. Just think like Chris Thomas from UND ,they would of saw the league if they would of left 2nd year,IMO. I still think Scottie can make the league my prediction is on SA.
