Good to hear. Thank you. Should have been the game time and date all along. Thanks God.

Yes, Thanks God for this storm that's taken lives and caused billions of dollars of property damage.  It has made it easier for me to get to a college exhibition game.  Poison, you are a Richard.

That is exactly right. Everything I write is meant to be taken literally.

Wonder how the crowd will be.  The school is charging $20 for non-students.

It's absurd that they are charging 20 bucks to watch an exhibition game.

$5 is all this game is worth.

I gave my season tickets up. Still love going but 2 seats cost 1200. That is a lot of money. I am only buying from the box office for uconn. Everything else will be 10 dollars from the scalpers. I want to support the university but there prices are crazy.

Sadly, that is dead on accurate. The players deserve the support. St.John's tests everyone's patience.

It must be some crazy scheme to turn a profit

If you want a big time program, you have to pay the price.  $20 for an exhibition is cheap compared to other schools.  go to Kentucky site and see that you pay between 47 and 55 a ticket and not for seats as close as the 20 ones at SJU.

2 season tickets at Xcuse in the upper deck will cost you over 100 more than the 2 for 1200 at SJU; and that is in Syracuse not Jamaica and MSG.

if you want $5/$10 per game go see St. Francis and be comfortable with that level of play.  If you want top tier--it costs money.  You can not have top tier on the cheap and that also means booster club donations which are mandatory at a large number of schools on top of the season ticket cost.

The problem is we aren't a top tier program yet and charging 20 dollars to see a game that doesn't count and can be seen for free on the internet makes no sense and is no way to cultivate a fanbase.  Kentucky can charge 50 bucks a seat because they will sell out no matter what they charge.  There will be maybe 500 people in the arena Saturday for our game.

Much like the Mets, they are charging for a product that doesn't exist. Yes, I'm sure UK charges a lot, but do they charge $60 for parking, and $12 for a 12 ounce domestic beer? How about $15 for a brisket sandwich? Think those simpletons have that kind of money?

Hopefully this year, our tickets are worth the money. We'll see.

You do realize STJ has zero control on the parking, beer, etc....

I wasn't blaming SJ for those costs. I was just pointing out that a St.John's game is a more expensive proposition than a game in Kentucky. They may have the better program, but the country doesn't cost more than NYC, no matter how much the ticket costs.

Face value 130 dollars 2 tickets for great seats vs rutgers at the garden. I can take my dad or a friend. Plus beer and dinner. 200 dollar plus night.
Or scalp 10 dollar tickets find even better seats and have same expirence. To get me to come back as season ticket holder they are going to have upgrade their schedule ( don't mind paying for cuse, duke) or lower prices.

By find better seats do you mean move down and sit in a sit that isn't yours?

Sometimes, scalped tickets can cost $5.

Still, our fans jumped ship years ago. The University takes advantage of the few people who still support Red/White, and have supported them even when their prices were truly criminal. St.John's has a short memory. They were glad to take your money while Harrington bludgeoned the program with his childish ideals.
