Is averaging a double-double in the D-League and put up 34 points and 22 rebounds tonight.  Never thought I'd utter these words but could we see Sean in the NBA in the near future?

34 and 22??? Are you kidding me? I'll be honest, and I loved Sean his senior year here, but I never thought he would do much post-St. John's. But, if he's putting up those numbers anything is possible. Go Sean!

Just to temper it a bit, the previous game he got  2 points and 3 rebs....He's averaging 14/9 on the season so far.

Man your a trip.  :)  If he bought into the system earlier he would have had more game balls.  Refer to the WSJ article when Sean is quoted as saying it took him long to buy into it.  Oh facts.  They are the darnedest things.

Happy for Sean.  Just as I'm happy for JB24.  Those Sr's stabilized our program but were cheated out of 3 years of success because of the staff they had.

He only played 8 mins the previous game.  Might have been an issue.

Wasn't fouls, and appaently not injury (tho illness like a 24 hour bug a possiblity).   One thing I've learnd as a long time d-league fan, is the check the rosters.   A lot of "regulars" will have similar dips in their minutes, usually when a parent team sends a player down for a game or two (like for a rehap assignment), so the regulars have to sit for a game or two.    D-league is a funny place.

Not so much.   Sean had 52 total assists in his 4 years at SJU (128 games).  That's one assists every 2 1/2 games he played....He played 2425 minutes  - so  per 30 minutes, he averaged about  1/2 an assist.....

Half an assist per game-does that mean the ball slipped out of his hand? :)

He has size, is very quick and athletic.  He was not a year round player till college.

Once he makes it, Malik wil be next.
