Yeah, tough to take.  But I'm willing to give Lavin a lot of latitude on this, as we all know NCAA decision making is a totally unclear.  The status labels for player eligibility is such a grey area.  Lavin probably felt in his gut that the NCAA wouldn't penalize someone who clearly exhibited a case of hardship.  Lavin is probably still holding out hope, it is his can-do positive style.  I'm hopeful too, although psychologically I've already come to terms that Sanchez won't ever play for us.

I agree with Poison.  We have a lot to look forward to with this team, even if we fall short this year of the standard we're aiming to achieve/regain.  I remain really enthusiatic re. Lavin and co.  Right now I'm concerned with how we respond as a team to our weaknesses, reflected in lineups and playing styles.
