Who won the NIT last year?
It's 2013. Not 1950. A 1st round Ncaa loss is better than an NIT title.

Winning NIT would be great for us. Play and win some more games. Then play 2 big games in front of packed garden where most of the fans are rooting for st.johns.
I would rather get blown out in the tournament play-in game than win the NIT.

I was at the nit last time. It was packed. Very pro sju crowd. Place was going crazy when hat ten brought us back vs texas tech
Just saying the nit win was much better then the next year when we lost to Wisconsin in 1st round. I would rather make the NCAA . But winning the nit in my opinion is better for the program then losing in the 1st round.Gotta retake the garden

The semi's and finals at the garden usually have good crowds and have often been darn exciting. But for a lower to mid-level BE program like us, the big dance has got to be the goal.
