Moe back in NYC
« on: January 28, 2013, 05:36:00 PM »
Kind of cool that Harkless' return to NYC (Orlando plays @ BK tonight and @NYK on Wednesday) coincides with the current Johnnies winning streak. I'm curious to know if Moe will be on campus tomorrow (Tuesday) since the Magic will be in town until Wednesday's game at the Garden.

I also found this video randomly on YouTube. It's a few months old, but a pretty cool look inside the life of all the rookies on Orlando. Team medical/training staff seems to agree that Moe's body has great potential in the Association...

I am sure he will come by, he comments on every game of ours on Twitter. He is really close to his teammates.

I am aware of this. More so just wondering if his schedule with the Magic will permit it. I'm sure St Johns twitter guy will inform us if he is on campus tomorrow, but I was just curious if any "insiders" on this site already knew of a planned visit.

Magic play Nets tonight and Knicks on Wednesday at MSG so there could be time depending on their Tuesday practice schedule.

Very nice game by Moe tonight with 16 pts on 7-10 shooting (I believe a career best).  Would love to see him drop 20+ in the Garden next against Melo.

Nice NY Post article on Moe's game from last night.  Especially like the part where it says he can't wait to see his old teammates  when he visits them at practice today.

Best game by far.  Had some sweet moves on the baseline.

Interesting comment from Moe about Sampson's NBA readiness;

I liked the face palm comment.  Soooo can relate to that feeling!

Like when the technician in the video disses Mo by saying 'so you're warming the bench'.  Mo shoots back 'not warming - coming off the bench'.

Most damaging early departures
1. Berry
2. Artest
3. Harkless
4. Cook
5. Barkley

Good list, but I think Harkless at 3 might be a little premature at this point.  If we make the NCAA tourney this year (not holding my breath), his departure won't be viewed as being that damaging at all. In fact, it will be viewed as a good thing for future recruits.

If Cook came back, he would have played with Hatten. While on paper that seems great, I am not sure they would have meshed as Hatten played better when he had the ball.

If Barkley came back he would have theoretically played with Cook. While that would have been interesting, I am not sure how much of a win loss difference that would have made for that team.

If Harkless came back this year I think sweet 16 would have been in play.
