Very, very, very good win. Especially against those f$$ks.  My cable is out so I couldn't see it but glad to see Marco had a good game.

Big win.  Winning at home down the stretch will make or break the NCAA resume for SJU.

Have we won a game this year that hasn't been exactly like this?

Actually I don't remember ANY games won like this - hitting 16 of our final 18 Free Throws???

Hey, start of the season,  would knowing we'd be 7-4 to start conference have brought a smile or frown?

Well I meant more like this:

-We have a big lead of like 10+ points
-We have lead cut or lose the lead completely
-We play tough ball down the stretch and eek out a win

Marco does more than just shoot 3s.   Just being OUT there after hitting a couple really opended the halfcourt for the other players.   Can't help notice 3 of the four scoring streaks (where we pulled away) happened with him in the lineup.

Phil seems to be shooting FTs as confidently as D'lo did LAST year.   And you get the feeling Marco isn't going to choke at the line.

And of course - Obekpa hitting BOTH ends of a 1 and 1?  And then a 17 foot J.  Wow.

Let's close this out boys!  Nice job.

7-4 in the Big East is pretty freaking good.
And it doesn't feel like we have won six of seven. Mucho suffering. How does Lavin take it?

Great win. Others stepping up with Harrison struggling is huge

I'm glad they had a little lead in the end because ESPN switched to the start of the TCU/Kansas game! Living in Texas can be rough sometimes!

How was the crowd tonight?

I guess coach finally had them practice free throws ;)

What would anyone considered this win in terms of quality opponent? On par with cincy/ND, better/worse?

Greene and DLo perfect at the line.

What a team win!  Took a few guys seemingly buried on the bench (Jones, Borgault, Balamou) and they each played solid in their roles.  75% from the stripe tonight too!  I think this team just grew up.

Came back from the garden. Good win. Not as many uconn fans in the house. Overall good crowd. The team is more balanced but what's up with d Lo. Really struggling

Definitely not as many Uconn fans in the house. Jim Calhoun was sitting near me as well as several drunk Uconn fans which would explain the odor.

I would say 7000 Johnnies fans and 1500 Uconn fans.  Not a great crowd but very spirited.  Uconn fans started a cheer in the upper section when they were making the comeback but they got shouted down by our students.  Great job guys!

Uconn fans have definitely jumped off the bandwagon this year---at least as far as traveling down to the Garden.  I just wish we had come closer to filling the place.

The way we were playing at the end of the 1st semester a 4-7 record at this point seemed like a stretch.Nice team effort. We needed this W .DLO played well down the stetch, but he has been off lately.Marco played great 1st half but dissappeared 2nd. Hopefully Branch will be back after Louisville.

A few thoughts:
disappointed with crowd size
No spacing in the back court lead to 2 many Con steals
Best first half we played--the defense was marvelous.  The passing on Garrett's 3PTer was just beautiful--need more like that,
in second half after steal by Con, Sir did not give up but went at it full tilt for a block--he will not quit
Jakarr, who appears the most easy going on the team, stood up to the wearwolf after the second elbow to the face (no more cheeks to turn) and the refs did the right thing by going to the videotape.  That was respect for a player who is never provoked.
Marco stayed with the defensive scheme and moved well in the zone, better than i expected.
Phil--no more threes, go to the hoop/draw the foul; your FT's looked like money tonight.
Finally great FT shooting
Great win for the lads; love beating the Conmen.  Finally came out strong in the first half and showed strength in losing the lead but digging in to capture victory.
